Bonny Watch
There are many variations of this beau id, Riviera, and many colors for this variation. But be sure to get this one with the rubber strap as opposed to bracelet and raven dial as opposed to white and 3 white chrono/seconds circles as opposed to 2 and lastly, the non-rotating bezel. Why? This is a out-ringer for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore! Well, as least from far away and to non-watch savvy admirers. The Nobleman Oak Offshore is a really beautiful watch but cost just way too much (into the tens of thousands). By getting this, it's almost a cheaper interpretation of it except of course it's not AP and it's not an octagonal shaped case but one of a twelve-sided polygon. This is still a beautiful BM wrist-watch and nothing to be ashamed of with precision timing and chronograph function. You'll save a nice piece of change and still own a beautiful, working watch that looks like the Royal Oak but yet is not a daze-off.

Not that goood!
It is unceremonious to cast marks over the steel details in front of the watch. Machine is good, but piercing as well, it is a heavy watch.

This is a significant looking watch, and I've never seen it on anyone else, which living in Los Angeles is a big deal. I wrestled with myself for a month about getting this note. I usually get immediate buyer's remorse as soon as I succumb to my addiction and hit BUY on something as feather-brained and overpriced as a quality timepiece, but the second I opened the box and saw this baby that all went to a different place. I love the juxtaposition of the matte black finish on the bezel and dial against the proficient steel of the case and subtle detailing of the chrono dial. The dial itself is surely stunning with just the right amount of orange to black contrast. A great masculine, lithe looking watch, but not so much that its ostentatious. (Not to step on any toes, but come on Panerai, its big enough already) The chronograph repositioning is of the highest quality, very crisp and substantial when you push the buttons and pull the circlet, like you would expect from a premiere Swiss watch house like B&M. Radiant watch, solid construction
I've already received untold compliments on this watch. I'm very happy with the purchase. Currently it is enjoying more wrist mores than many of my other watches (including a very jealous IWC Portuguese). It's my 4th automatic watch so far, and the first that doesn't have a leather strap. Intimately-crafted mechanical movements are definitely the way to go. The sailcloth strap turns out to be a benefit material for diving or swimming, and also gives the watch an elegant yet casual sense. The watch is rather heavy, and has a solid presence, as most well built automatic watches should. Also, I have a very piddling wrist, but I'm able to pull off this watch without it looking ridiculous at all. I should also mention that the strap has a deployant brooch (not sure if the pictures on amazon show that), which is an added bonus. I can't fight with any of the reviews posted - I ended up purchasing this watch without even trying it on, and there is no buyers mortification here.This model of B&M is no longer available by the manufacturer, which is why Amazon is marking it down a hefty 63% (at the on occasion of this writing).All I can say is get one while it is in stock. Definitive and timeless
I bought this a few era ago and am really happy with the purchase. I have been following this watch for a while and have been to jewellers to get a price on this mention and also to know more about the brand. Baume & Mercier is one of the oldest watch makers ever! The Riviera is a classic piece that doesn't look arid, even though it was first created in the 70s'. It is light on the wrist and suitable for all occasions. Not foolproof what the other reviewer...
In fact has a problem with. Does he just think its ugly? What about the quality of the watch? baume et Mercier is patronize to none. If you like the style of this watch based on the picture you will love this watch. If you are obsessed with James Link and want to dress like him then you obviously you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want an expertly crafted magnificence watch from a company known the world over then this may be the watch for you.
