Don't Buy Height End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a on a trip end watch should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to report the item and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the orchestra. After numerous calls to customer service and a flurry of emails, Amazon inexorably informed me the watch was covered under their warranty program. I had to ship the item to their waiting center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and return the item) and still I have no working regard for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the cost of a very expensive watch, and the cost of two unravel UPS shipments - including insurance coverage. If you are thinking of purchasing a surveillance on Amazon, go directly to the manufacturer. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, frustration and try.

Nightmare ~
Ordered this upshot online as a special birthday present. I received the item within three working natural life from Amazon; only to find that this item had been previously sold and reissued again. The watch is absolutely smashing, but the bracelet clasp was defective (unable to fasten following the vendor's instructions). I received notification back from Amazon, they had received the scrutinize back for a replacement; however, the notification referenced "battery dead" as the reason for the replacement. I wanted wildly to re-order, but I am sure they will simply re-issue the same watch back to me. Warning: do not try to resolve problems with Amazon online; I talked to more than three transatlantic speaking customer service agents (all very nice); however, it remains all talk and no enterprise! You will NEVER have the opportunity to speak with anyone who has the ability to resolve problems. It is such a shame; the watch is superior.

i was absolutely happy with my purchase from amazon. i saved approximately $1k off sticker price of this await and then didn't have to pay tax and/or shipping. i love this classic design and am so glad i was able to get it at a excellent price and not have to worry about it being real. i took it to my local jeweler and told him where i got it-and said if it came from amazon itself, no worries.

Only buy from authorized traffic
I got this timepiece from Amazon as a gift from my husband a few months ago. Last month, we found that there was a $300-400 problem with the circuitry. Our keep safe store told us to have the repair fixed under the warranty. I called Amazon with the donation receipt in hand but I did not have the exact price so they refused to honor the warranty. I don't recollect how you can have the exact price if you get the watch as a gift. My husband found his original receipt but Amazon refused to honor the undertaking when he called with all the required information. He just got the run around on line in India for 20 minutes . It is not usefulness it. Buy from an authorized dealer.

Yes, this is a cloudy market watch, meaning only that Amazon is not an authorized dealer. It's also a great appraisal on the real deal (and the serial number wasn't removed despite some commentary about this in some of the forums), with all label new Cartier packaging, etc. You can't beat the price; this was less even than several used Tank Francaises I looked at. If you want to pay full premium, go ahead, but this is a great deal on the real thing, with an Amazon two year bond instead of Cartier. That is the ONLY difference. Also fast shipping. I ordered at 6 PM and it was waiting for me in my office the very next morning when I at home at 9 AM. That's service!
Excellent Brand -- Classic Quality
The Cartier Tank chaperon is a standard that began the style of these watches. Beautiful elegant styling that is a put gift. In my case it was a graduation gift for my wife who worked very hard at getting a situation as a working adult. This watch comes with a full presentation box of red leather, as one would expect from such a thin on the ground b costly brand. Even the manual comes in its own matching red leather bound box. The watch is casual in a white kid leather padded box around a pillow of the same material.

Consumer Beware!!!
Do not buy this or any other ripe end watches from Amazon!!!! This is a grey market item sold immediately by Amazon that is not supported by a Cartier warranty. Moreover, the watch arrived inoperable and although I returned it the same day it was delivered, Amazon has refused to admit the return because of "scratches" on the clasp. The watch has never been worn. Please do not make the same mistake I made. Assurance me, the savings are not worth it. BTW, I have purchased over 2100 items on Amazon and was shocked that they would be good this way.

lifetime type
fagged out my bonus on this classic + elegant, automatic-movement timepiece 11 years ago. it's kind + loveliness remains till today! I've received countless compliments on it. this midsize physiognomy sits low + snug. it contours to the shape of the wrist + is perfectly sized. all the metal + links are unconstrained.. not like some of the other super-expensive brands I tried. I had this watch on everyday + the 'fight-scar' scratches show the rough wear I put it through :) after 10 years, the robot-movement needed an 'over-haul' due to wear + tear. since this is my 1 + only luxury safeguard, I thought it would last forever + had not taken better care of it by sending it for regular servicing.. it only had 1 usage in it's 8th year. still extremely satisfied with this finely crafted timeless beauty!
Marvellous watch
The matter above is not sold by Amazon, and I did not buy my watch from Amazon, so this review only pertains to the watch itself. However, in reaction to the man who says Amazon-sold watches aren't warrantied, this is wrong. If the seller is Amazon, then Amazon states "All Cartier watches purchased Rule from Amazon.com are covered by a limited two-year warranty at no additional cost (see minutiae). Applies only to products sold by Amazon.com. Does not apply to products sold on our plat by third-party merchants or through third-party areas such as Amazon.com Marketplace." Anyway, I was accepted to purchase this midsize 2-tone from Amazon last year but I stepped into a well-known sentinel retailer to try on the watch first. Bad watch
After several years of deliberating, I chose the Cartier Santos Women's Negligible. I am very happy with the watch, I only have one complaint. I have been wearing it for about 2 months daily to the office and for other non-labor all-out activities. Somehow, the gold bezel is already badly scratched and I cannot even recall how it possibly could have happened. But, the watchful of is very comfortable, very classy looking and can be worn for dress or casual, with white gold bars or yellow. With the exception of how easily it scratches, I think it is a great investment.

i like cartier be prepared alot lately i saw a preowned carter Ladies "Vermeil Tank" awake to going at a reasonable price at a reputable pre owned luxury watch inform on. but I don know if this series is worth buying? is classic though.
I would say no because they made a ton of these when the Cartier tank was at the crest of popularity decades ago. Even solid gold Cartiers flooded the market at one continuously so the more supply there is, the less demand. Sorry!! : /
